I caught this video on YouTube - part of a speech made by Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. It is unfortunate that Mrs. Clinton thinks that if she were President all she would have to do is “take” the profits of oil companies to fund government programs. Huh? Isn’t this called communism and didn’t we find out that it doesn’t work well.
Think about it. Start with the oil profits. Next they will be looking at other “big profits” from other companies. If you make a product for $1.00 and sell it for $10.00 are you making too big of a profit? Maybe.
Of course, the bright side is Mrs. Clinton could take all the profits from all the oil companies and then they would go out of business. Then we would be forced to look for alternative fuels. In the meantime, we would only suffer a few deaths from lack of heating and the inability for emergency services to get anywhere. Small price to pay?
