I did not vote for Obama because I do not like his politics, however, I am somewhat proud of this country for looking beyond race and voting in a man of color. Will this change race relations in this country? It might, but it will be a long time in coming. There will still be those who believe that a black man is not qualified to be President and there will be those who believe that Obama will somehow force equality on America.

I wish Obama the best of luck. This country is headed for even tougher economic times and he still has the Iraq war to deal with. There will be many whispering in his ear trying to pull him in different directions and hopefully he will make decisions based on what is best for the country as a WHOLE.
