Joe Biden may think he is really smart, but he should think a little before he speaks. Katie Couric interviewed Joe Biden on a train the other day and asked him about the financial crisis. Biden responded by saying:

“When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened.’”

Sounds good, right?

Slight problem. One, Roosevelt was not President when the stock market crashed in 1929 (it was Republican Herbert Hoover) and there were NO televisions in 1929. I wonder if they will mention this on The View?
