Florida is always a key state for Presidential Elections. A newly released poll shows Democrat Hillary Clinton (40%) gaining ground, but so is Obama. Gore (who isn’t running) lost percentage points. On the Republican side, Giuliani is still in the lead (with 30%), but he has lost considerable ground to Fred Thompson (who hasn’t declared yet). Thompson has 21.1%. McCain has also been steady losing percentage points, while Romney is steadily gaining.

Since most states are now holding their Primary Elections in early 2008, these poll numbers could be crucial for the candidates. Of course, the losers may find an Orlando vacation rental to their liking instead of the White House!
