As is usually the case, the unions of America are endorsing a Democratic candidate. Hillary Clinton has just picked up her fouth union endorsement by the Letter Carriers. She has been previously endorsed by the United Transportation Union, The International Associate of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and the Transportation Communication Union.

What is the problem with this? some union workers must hide behind blinds and are not able to truly speak out for their own political beliefs. In fact, a CNN exit poll showed that 38 percent of union members voted for President Bush in the 2004 election. However, more than 95 percent of union funds went to support Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.

Union funds should be used for union activities that benefit ALL the workers, not just what the union party bosses believe should be support.
