Why I hate the Presidential Primaries!

Whoever thought that a few would be able to choose for the majority? Well, that is the way it is with the Presidential Primary elections. It is interesting that Iowa and New Hampshire get to vote first in the Primaries and thus effectively make the choice for all of us. Remember when John Kerry was running? Everyone thought Howard Dean might be the Presidential Candidate, but before we ever got to vote here in New Jersey our fate was decided for us (not that I would have voted for Howard Dean anyway, but you get the point).
My solution? Make the Primaries later in the year – May – and then have EVERY STATE vote on the same day. Winner takes all. The candidates would have to woo all the voters, not just those in a few select states.
