It seems that both Obama and Mrs. Clinton want so badly to be in the White House that they are stealing delegates. Of course, the official word from both campaigns is that they would not stoop so low to steal delegates.

If you don’t think it could happen, think again. Year, 1984. Candidates, Walter Mondale and Gary Hart. Mondale and Hart were virtually tied after Super Tuesday, but Hart then set out to win most of the many caucuses. Both Mondale and Hart won some big states as well. Just a few weeks before the Democratic convention, Mondale went into action. His “advisors” went from state convention to state convention and “convinced” pledged Hart delegates to vote for Mondale. Mondale also won most of the Super Delegates.

Jesse Jackson had a similar thing happen to him in 1984. He won some early primaries and caucuses and ended up with 21 percent of the total votes casted. However, in the end, he only received 8 percent of the delegates.

I guess if you are really looking forward to redecorating the White House and putting new Price Pfister faucets in all the bathrooms, you will stoop to anything. All is fair in love, war, and I guess politics.
