When you become President, your pet will become just as famous as you are. Be sure to stock up on the required pet supplies for the first pet! Pets seem to make the President more caring and personable. Here is a list of some famous White House pets:

Dwight D. Eisenhower - Heidi, Weimaraner
John F. Kennedy - Macaroni, Pony (Caroline Kennedy also had pet ducks)
Lyndon B. Johnson - Him and Her, Beagles
Richard Nixon - Vicky, French Poodle; Pasha, Yorkshire Terrier; King Timahoe, Irish Setter
Gerald Ford - Liberty, Golden Retriever
Jimmy Carter - Misty Malarky Yin Yang, Siamese Cat (Amy’s pet)
Ronald Reagan - Rex, King Charles Spaniel
George H.W. Bush - Millie, Springer Spaniel (and her pups one of which is Spot)
Bill Clinton - Socks, cat; Buddy, dog
George W. Bush - Spot, Springer Spaniel (see GHW Bush above)
