John McCain IS the Republican nominee. Am I happy about it? NO. McCain is trying his hardest to win back those Republicans who really don’t think he is a Republican. It looks like it is working. McCain didn’t have to use any digital signage or billboards to convince them. Maybe his constant on-the-road speeches have worked. I doubt that as well. I think it is this. We don’t have a choice. That’s right. No one else is going to be the Republican nominee, so Republican’s are learning to live with it.

It also seems that McCain may be winning Democrats who have soured on Clinton and are unsure about Obama. McCain has been trying to soften his image and appeal to more voters. This may change after the Democratic nominee is decided and McCain’s feet are back in the fire.
