Although Hillary Clinton may be thinking about finding some St. John villa rentals and taking a break from the whole campaigning thing, she won’t. This would be a big mistake for the Democratic Party. There are already rumors that droves of Hillary supporters are going to vote for McCain. Of course, I think that this is just a temporary temper tantrum. If Hillary becomes the Vice Presidential candidate, these voters will vote for a Obama-Clinton ticket.
If Hillary does not become the Vice Presidential candidate, there will be Democrats that will vote for McCain because they fell that Hillary was “slighted.” In the long run, a McCain Presidency might be the best way for Hillary to gain the position in the future.
