The President's Cabinet has changed over the years. President Washington's Cabinet consisted of only four members: Secretary of State (Thomas Jefferson), Secretary of the Treasury (Alexander Hamilton), Secretary of War (Henry Knox), and Attorney General (Edmund Randolph). The Constitution does not name what cabinet positions there should be, that duty is left to the Congress. Additional cabinet positions were added over the years, including Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Agriculture, Secretary of Commerce, Secretary of Labor, Secretary of Health and ... Secretary of State Clinton

It is one for the textbooks. When Obama said "Change," I guess what he really meant was politics as usual. As Obama starts to name his Cabinet appointees, the names are looking very familiar. Many of them served in the Clinton Whitehouse. And now he chooses Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. I wonder if she will have to run through sniper attacks in Bosnia? I find it interesting that the news and blogs are calling ... Read More
