Many politicians need spirometers, just to measure the hot air that is blowing out of their lungs. But here is a change of pace, Republican Rand Paul, candidate for senator is Kentucky is pulling TV ads that attack one of the primary opponents, Trey Grayson.

Paul has instead decided to run positive spots that feature some of his supporters. Both are hoping for the GOP nomination to run for retiring Republican’s Jim Bunning’s seat. Paul, who has many tea party supports, has a double digit lead.
