Looking Out for Nevada

Senate majority leader, Harry Reid (D), does his best to look out for his home state of Nevada. If he could, I am sure that he would offer las vegas travel deals for everyone to travel to Nevada and spend time at the casinos.
In the past six months, seven Cabinet members, the Vice President and the President have all traveled to Nevada to promote Harry Reid. Reid is up for election in 2010 and has seen his popularity numbers in the state drop to just 38 percent.
Democrats in Nevada slightly outnumber Repubilcans and so Reid is counting on his support of the public option and other liberal voting to put him over the edge. Currently only 5% of Republicans and 37% of independents favor Reid. However, if health care becomes a huge debacle, the vote may not go his way in November.
