I choose the Department of Education. Get rid of it. Let each state deal with education. My second choice could be subsidies.

Now, will they be able to work together to form a good plan to get the economy back on the right track? If they don’t, I suspect another turn over of incumbent politicians in 2012.

Senate candidate Sharron Angle has sent flowers and a thank-you note to “The View” host Joy Behar after Behar launched into a nasty diatribe against the Nevada Republican that even co-host Barbara Walters called “offensive.” The note read: “Joy, raised $150,000 online yesterday. Thanks for your help.”

Behar on Tuesday called Angle a “moron” and a “bitch” for running an ad slamming her Democratic opponent, Majority Leader Harry Reid, over his immigration policies. The ad juxtaposes images of thug-like men crossing the border with white children sitting in a classroom, Fox News reports. Walters told Behar on Wednesday, “You were so offensive to many people.”

Just goes to show that sometimes any press is really good press!

In Delaware, Mike Castle, backed by the Republican Party, lost his primary race for the US Senate to Christine O’Donnell and in other states Tea Party candidates did well. While some races were lost, there is no doubt that the Tea Party movement is willing to get behind a candidate and send people to the polls. Which may just ensure that candidate’s win.

1. He has loaded up every child in this nation with more debt than any President in history.
2. With his policies and the threat of more such policy, he has destroyed more wealth than any human being in history, which is always what happens when you set out to redistribute wealth: you end up destroying it.
3. He has brought us to the brink of the most massive tax increases in history and if we don’t elect enough Republicans in November to stop him that is exactly what we will get.
4. He has forced through legislation without a single republican vote that may well destroy the finest health care system in history when all we needed were some measures to control costs.
5. He has divided America along racial lines in destructive ways and he is doing so again by suing Arizona over its attempt to control the drug trade and human smuggling trade threatening its security.
6. He has failed to form a policy to adequately deal with the vicious Mexican drug cartels that are essentially running parts of that nation and becoming an increasing threat to ours.
7. He has traveled the world making apologies for America instead of defending its timeless and treasured ideals of freedom and peace for all nations of good will.
8. He has said there is nothing exceptional about America, something no other president has ever said and something which alone suggests he is a historically poor president.
9. He has hired people of strange and radical views to hold important federal posts in which they pursue more bad policy that no administration in history has ever pursued.

He makes some pretty good points!

Flip floppng is never a good thing for a candidate. Mitt Romney took a hit as a presidential candidate last year for his apparent change of heart on abortion and other candidates do have had their words used against them. Unfortunately, there are always times when changing your opinion can be a good thing.

Paul has instead decided to run positive spots that feature some of his supporters. Both are hoping for the GOP nomination to run for retiring Republican’s Jim Bunning’s seat. Paul, who has many tea party supports, has a double digit lead.
