The book address such problems as the deficit, military weakness, global competitiveness, health care and education. Romney doesn’t just single out the Democratic Party, but places blame on both sides of the aisle. Romney states:

This is a book about what I believe should be our primary national objective: to keep America strong and to preserve its place as the world’s leading nation. And it describes the course I believe we must take to strengthen the nation in order to remain prosperous, secure, and free.

I never did see the movie Charlie Wilson’s War and decided that I wanted to read the book first. Instead of buying the book, I downloaded (for a fraction of the cost) the audio book and have started listening to it. So far it is a fascinating story. I will give a long review when I am done with it.

If there are books that you want to read, try the audio book version. It is great for a change.
