I recently had to spend time at my local Social Seurity Office to get a replacement card for my daughter. We sat there for an hour before we were called. We saw many others who were looking for social security disability get turned away because they did not have the correct documents. The system just seems a little backwards. Forms that could have been completed online and submitted before coming to the office had to be handwritten. One mistep and you had to come back.
