An atheist conference entitled “Crystal Clear Atheism” was held in Virginia over the weekend. One of the main topics of the conference was that science must ultimately destroy organized religion. About 91% of Americans polled said that they believed in God.

There was a divide among the speakers with Richard Dawkins believing that all religion is “extreme.” Sam Harris, on the other hand stated that not all religions are extreme. Dawkins stated: “Religion is not the root of all evil, but it gets in the way of [determining] how we got here and where we find ourselves. And that is an evil in itself.”

When one group pulls another group down just to raise itself up, that is truly a shame. And they want to be called humanists.
