On election day, New Jersey voters were asked if they wanted to spend money on stem cell research. The answer was no! New Jersey voters are sick and tired of spending in the state and it doesn’t seem to end. It seems that New Jersey thinks that it has a checking account that is filled with funds and never has to be balanced. I voted no for this proposal. Until New Jersey can learn to balance its budget and stop spending money, voters will continue to vote no for such proposals.
Of course, I hear that Governor Corzine doesn’t really care what the people say and is trying to find a way to fund the project anyway.
