Thinking of Regifting?

Now that you have opened all your presents, are you thinking of re-gifting a few? Olivia Zaleski has offered some guidelines on how to re-gift those items. Here is a summary of her article:
- Don’t re-gift perishables. No one wants moldy cheese.
- Don’t re-gift out-of-date items. Did you buy it years ago? If so, it is probably not a good idea to give it to someone now.
- Don’t re-gift obvious items. You didn’t like that monogrammed towel set? Unless you find someone with the same initials, don’t think about re-gifting it.
- Don’t forget to re-wrap the item. Old, crinkly paper is a sure give-away.
- Don’t forget who gave it to you. It is very embarrassing to give back a gift to the giver.
There are a couple of items that I have bought over the years, that I would like to give as gifts, but I don’t think that any one will want an unopened bottle of hoodia or a box of scented door fresheners that no longer have any scent!
