The word pirate reminds a lot of people of a handsome, yet somewhat morally ambivalent, Johnny Depp. Unfortunately, pirate is the same term the media is using to describe the Somali’s who raid ships and take hostages. I purpose we call them what they are – terrorists – or should that be man-caused disasters.

It is bad enough that many areas of the world are becoming unstable, and I am starting to wonder if international travel insurance covers acts of piracy, terrorism or “man-caused disasters.”

By the way, 74% of Americans think terrorism should be called what it is – terrorism. The other 16% are just plain stupid.
