India Set to Reveal $10 Laptop

India, who has already provided the world with a $2,000 car (Tata Nano which has safety, environmental and other concerns) is looking to release a $10 laptop. Experts agree that this is unrealistic as basic parts for such a laptop would be well over $10. Most consumers will prefer to stick with a known, and reliable laptop, such as the Sony Vaio, then be stuck with a $10 piece of junk.
Even the One Child One Laptop initiate, which claimed that the laptops would be available for $100, had to raise the price to $200 per laptop because of parts pricing.
